Final draft book review

FINAL DRAFT OF BOOK REVIEW-
My book is called when broken glass floats by Chanrithy Him. This is a true story that happened to Chanrithy him when she was only a little girl. I really appreciate the fact that she wrote this story about an event that happened years ago when she was only a young girl. This story starts out in Cambodia and the invaders are Khmer rouge. The city they left is year piar.
A family with a bunch of love for their other family members was a great advantage over how they were getting treated. Chanrithy was very worried about her mother during the whole story. Her mother was very sick and needed lots of help.
She was tortured, sick and half dead most of the time and getting old. As you can see she was not in good shape. Not only that but she also had to go through the terror of the camps and deal with the people who went through those camps. Chanrithy him's father was very strong and comforting. He tried to help as much as possible in anything that went wrong but he didn't last very long in the book and died. The uncle poo-seng was a very noble guy as well. Now some other two characters were Ra and Ry. These siblings were very scared during this time in this family’s life. They were all very concerned about each other and needed help from everyone in the family. They were scared most of the time because of the camps. Ra had to marry to stay alive so that she didnt die. Marriage is a long and hard decision that shouldn't take 20 minutes. For Ra this was bad because she was getting forced to marry.
They both tried caring for Chanrithy but most of all needed help instead of helping. Later in the book a character came in to the story that was kinda like a second mother because their mother was dying. She was a nurse; she was very kind to the whole family because of what they are going through in the book.
The whole family had a scary, long, and exhausting journey. They went through hard times and always made sure they stuck together. Chanrithy was a great companion. She gave all she got to survive and make sure her family survived. I recommend this story to readers who like reading long journeys and that like to read about historical events and what happens in wars like this one.
This family went through very hard times and I congratulate Chanrithy for being a great person and helping everyone she could. Hope for the best and hope everyone reads this great long adventure of a family who takes the long journey back to freedom. I recommend this book for a person with their mind wide open and their heart ready for the unexpected to happen.

Chapter 12: Cry of the Hunters
Perspective: Jack

Lets go boys, are new objective is Ralph. Ralph is the beastie now, we must slay him. Move out, we need him dead. As i ran into the woods with my spear and my hunters i felt a lot of power within me and able to do whatever it takes to crush Ralph's bones just like Simon and piggy. I didn't feel bad for anyone, i feel power, yeah that's it power. I could take on 10 Ralph's if i wanted to. While running i figure how Ralph could hide. I took long hours thinking of plans to get Ralph, sending hunters to all different parts of the island. I looked at roger and said, your horrible out there when you killed piggy. He said in a stuttering voice. Ya ya thanks i wanted to kill him of course. He was getting on my nerves. Good job roger, i hope you are ready for my wrath you piece of dirt. He looked at me and smiled and said, oh trust me i am while he said that he started to work his spear into two sides sharp. I noticed him and realize he was going to do a spear in the ground and a spear in the head of the pig. I walked off like everything was calm.
The next morning i woke up with a brilliant idea. I paced for a while until bingo, i knew how to get Ralph. I got all my hunters together and told them we got to burn the whole island so that Ralph has no where to go but to us. So in about the next hours we got right to work and burnt this tree with grass all around it that let to the mountain. It started to burn and burn until it came to the point where it spread most of the island. We kept on roaming around for Ralph until we finally found him in the woods running as fast as he could. I told everyone, after him! after him! spill his blood! then everyone cheered and ran full speed. As his little legs ran i almost fell on the floor laughing because he was running like a two-year old. As we saw him get closer and closer to the beach we noticed that he fell, we all sprinted to him as quickly as possible. When we got to him as he lay on the beach. I looked up and saw a naval, officer in full uniform, basically an adult. I stood there crying my eyes out noticing that we are just kids fighting over stupid things when there are adults and other children in this world doing what is good. My heart came from crushed to a bit uncrushed but still evil in a way. I couldn't believe this was real. I kept crying and crying until we finally got in the officers transportation and left the island for good, killing Simon and piggy while doing that. I also knew we left the kid with the birthmark that was very good kid but in the end i never thought of it the way i did.

Chapter 11: Castle rock
Perspective: Ralph


Roger pushed a large looking boulder and pushed it out of the way. But Piggy got hit and fell off the mountain and i then felt like time stopped as if i was alone with actual criminals. I stood there and looked at Piggy fall. And as his back hit the ground and he brain spilled out while i just stood there and watched the horror.
I can't believe this Simon and piggy die because of the horrible person jack. This is just getting way out of line. Ever since Jack became the king of the hills with his new group anyone who actually likes me gets killed, for all I know Samneric could be next, all because of me, all because Jack hates me and that jack couldn't stand that fact that we are on the island. Did i really put this on Simon and piggy, maybe just maybe. I mean Simon if we would have never gone to Jack's feast, Simon would have found us at our camp and we would probably be sleeping and everything would just be all fine and great like i wanted it to be but i guess everything doesn't go good.

The last person i could really trust and have faith in just was gone in a second. I mean Sam and Eric are taken away from me and now Piggy is died. Now I am on my own. I don’t really know what to do so I just do the first thing that came to mind. And that was to run., so I did, i could not risk dieing. I didn't want to die so i ran as fast as possible to get out of the horrible place i was in and i was losing hope of every making it home.

They are just accidents...right? right.....

Chapter 10: The shell and the glasses
Perspective: Piggy

Its been a long hard day for me and ralph. We are trying to tell everyone that it was just a accident that simon died, i couldnt stop feeling the badness inside. As jack was telling everyone that it was the beast trying to diguise himself i then realized how mean the kids are getting and how hard it is for me and ralph to go through with this barmy situation. I couldnt take this and kept on telling ralph and the others that it was just an accident. Yeah that what it was a accident. I kept on hearing ralph say that we murdered simon but i didnt want to hear it and i just kept on saying excusses. As the long hard day went on we all had to feel something but we couldnt because we didnt realize how we could of just killed simon. I knew where these boys were going but didnt want to confess because i would of felt purged. As ralph and jack's camps split up i wonder if i would make it.
That night we were sleeping quitely and were all losing intrest in the signal fire. I wonder how illumination made jack and his camp could handle life the way they do. I cant believe we cant all just get along. As the whole group was quiet and ready to go to sleep we all heard a loud noise in the wind. I got worryed if something bad and big was coming at us. We all heard it was jack and his men. They came and started to fight with us. Jack eventually runs over to my area pushes me down and grabs my glasses then runs off with his boys. I was so mad i just wanted him dead. I started theologically running after him for couple steps then stopped. Ralph could not believe it and was mad too. We all including me were wondering how life would be with jack having the power of fire in his own hands.

Chapter 9: View to a Death
Perspective: Simon

I wake up the next day with a weird feeling. I seem to have brought my evil side with me. As the sun came up i realized two different sides of me, like i felt free on one side and trapped in another side. When my mind started spinning and my head started blanking out i knew something was wrong with me. While looking at the dried blood on my body and the fly bites and then remember what i was doing before i fell asleep. I was having a conversation with myself, but how? Hmm, i thought for a moment that it was a scary corpulent but then it poped in my head. I was talking to myself but in a more negative tone of voice like a evil side. After thinking that thought i took a long walk to sort things out. As i came pretty far on the island i noticed a dead parachute man hanging from a tree. I thought about what a parachute man would be dueing here and all of a sudden it came to me, the beastie, the objects or figures that just randomly appear from things people said they saw. I then knew what was going on. First of all the beastie is the dead parachutist and jack is going crazy about a beastie when the beastie is really a dead person.
I had to go back to the group and tell them as fast as i can. But as i came to the point where i could see them in the distance i noticed they were dancing around in a circle with roger in the middle. I rushed about to fall over because my legs hurt so bad. As soon as i got there my legs bursted so i had to crawl to tell them. I crawled to the middle of the circle, as i was in the middle yelling at the top of my lungs that there is no beastie and that its a dead parachutist. The whole group was yelling over me like they were crazy in the head. I looked around at all of them as they screamed kill the beastie. As they started to approach me i got scared. I thought as if timed stopped at that moment and i was sitting there about to be hurt really bad for all i knew. My brain then rewinded this whole adventure and for some reason in that moment i have never felt as happy in my life then right then. As then time played again i was beat bad and poked bad hearing the boys screaming kill the beastie. i knew then they thought i was the beast and as soon as my final word came out yelling please dont, i was even able to see the phosphorescence and i knew and know who the beastie is, its you guys. the beastie is inside all of yo.................( As simons final word was said a silence in simons heart gave out on him, if you just watched then you could tell simon would probably want this in the end then deal with boys who have gone brainwashed and out of their minds. ) ( Simons body was then floating like a calm peice of wood after a ship sinking. ) ( After a couple minutes every stopped and took a step back and realized it wasnt a beastie .... it was simon.... Ralph starred into the eyes of dead simon and almost cryed because of what he done and how he fell into a trap of evilness )

Simon your my best friend and i bet you would want this ... SIMON ROCKS!!!!!

Frustration and Anger

Chapter 8: Gift of Darkness
Perspective: Jack

Today is a horrible day for the group. Ralph can not stop talking and talking about helping the group but he never does. I cant take the fact that ralph and the others dont listen to anything i say. The next day as the whole group was demure started to wake up i paced thinking about the beastie. I couldnt't take ralph teaching everyone the wrong way. We are fighters not wimps. You know what, right now i feel ralph is a huge wimp in not standing up so demoniac and fighting this beastie. I just had to unleash all my feelings on ralph so i went straight to him and told him that he is a complete wimp in not going after the beastie. I told it to him in ager and fury like a tiger and his roar.
I couldnt believe my mind. Ralph looked at me like i was crazy, prefect, and stupid when i told him that he was doing everything wrong. As i was thinking that i finally bursted out in a loud voice '' ralph you have no leadership skills at all, you cant lead these boys to courageness and strength and power or taboo. Here on out i say you should be removed from the leadership role now. '' All the boys looked at me like i was crazy, one guy spoke out and said that we all agree that ralph should stay in power and paunched his belly and said that your crazy jack. As soon as he said that i bursted out yelling and said right away. Ralph and you boys, im leaving this stupid group whoever wants to become a real man join me. As i walked away some followed but not as much as i hoped.
I did everything i could to defeat ralph and make him give up but nothing is good enough, i wanna just rip his head off. I will raid the beach tomorrow without sweat.
Without noticed me and my boys come out with fury about to raid the beach when one of my boys sees simon walking in the jungle. I tell them dont worry about it and lets get to what we are about to do.

Chapter 7: Shadows and tall trees
Perspective: Ralph

One day while sitting on the rocks of the beach i looked into the smashing waves as they hit the ground when they came in. My eyes wandered out into the open sea and enjoying the wind and the clam sea. After some time i started to think about the bad has happened and while looking into the sea i all of a sudden pictured a huge wall surrounding the island like a prison. I sagely was thinking heavily about the island and if we were gonna make it or not. I felt trapped like a animal in a cage. As i walked back i saw Simon i sat him down and just started explaining what i felt. H assured me that there still is hope and that i can still have hope in being rescued. I was very happy when we walked off because of the hope we still have in others on this island but was also afraid of some others.
The next morning jack woke me up early to tell me about how if we not do something then the beastie will eat us all and we will die. I agreed and knew we had to do something fast. I grabbed a spear and asked jack if he can teach me the basics of killing a animal. As he taught me the simple rules and felt something strange as if i was being pulled two different ways. I just tryed to ignore my feelings and kept listening to jack. We all went on bravado after that to find the beastie in a chase. As i ran with the boys i had a flash-back on the moment earlier this morning how jack finally confused me in being apart of the hunt. I remember not wanted to join but i knew i felt like i needed to regain myself in the boys so i did anyway. As the moment crept further and further as the brine on our body started to come off i tryed not to pay attention again and just kept on with the boys as they do practice rounds on each other of killing the beastie but not hurting our group.
As i slept around the group i still didnt like the way everything was going. It just felt very weird. The next day me, jack, and roger all went up the mountain but as we got up there we saw a terrifying looking thing with moors around it, large, shadowy form with the shape of a giant ape, making a strange flapping sound in the wind. Horrified, we all run as fast as we could while getting hurt in the rugger ( like gazelles running from lions ) back to the group to tell them what we saw.

Chapter 6: Beast from Air
Perspective: Piggy

While sleeping i was dreaming of the beastie awoken and going to kill all of us. At that excat moment i was awaken by ralph, sam eric, and the other group members that the beastie has been seen by sam and eric and that we all need to grab our spears. I stopped in shock and couldnt believe that this was happening. Ralph quickly said that he wanted me to stay with the littluns to keep them protected and safe from the beastie. I then told ralph i would stay with them until death but in my mind felt that i wanted to come along mutinously with ralph and jack but they didnt let me. He looked at me in greatness and said, ok just what i would wanna hear. As the boys gathered their spears which were a bit waxy and got close to the littluns with my spear in hand ready to protect the littluns if they needed protection. After half an hour to an hour i then got a little sleepy. Diffidently i went in deep thought looking at the sky thinking if i fall asleep while the beastie comes i may lose the littluns and have to live with it the rest of my life. So that day i kept my eyes open as long as i could until the others got back.
As the pressure built up my fears got worse and worse as i heard the guano of the birds. One of the littluns was telling his friends about how ralph kept on encouraging us to not think about the beastie and keeps on telling them that we are all embroiled that beastie is not real and trying to get it out of our heads. As i heard the littluns say what they had to say i stopped and thought of the things we've gone through since we got here. I took about half an hour until i ran out of thought to think about how mean jack has gotten and how nice simon is being and how ralph is being such a leader. That this all together if we get out alive will be a great experience even though its life and death that if i stay with everyone, then all the guys will stay with me too.

Chapter 5: Best from the water
Perspective: Simon

I hope this meeting will be a good one because of jack's lack of listening to ralph and the littluns scared so much of the beastie. I just hope everything will turn out right i hope. As i walked into the meeting that ralph called i realized that jack and his hunters were discursive as they walked into the the meeting. As ralph discussed the manners that the groups been having it sounded to me very ludicrous of jack and his hunters to not even listen and pretend like it was like there wasnt even a meeting. After the meeting went on jack and his hunters left in a mad mood like they hated every bit of it. They danced and chanted while walked off for only one goal of theres, to kill the beastie. I couldnt believe this group of people have gone for good to horrible listeners. i cant believe they think they can just do whatever they want, well i didnt say that outloud just thought it.
The next day i walked over to ralph with piggy. As i got over there ralph was pasing thinking in deep thought. We asked what was wrong and suddenly ralph looked up at us in anger. He starts off with a strong discussion about the rules that he has and how he doesnt know what to do because noone is following them. He then mentioned in a way that he wanted to quit being the leader of the boys, all of a sudden i stood in shock about to scream. I told him in the best way possible that i wanted him to stay. He stood there for a minute and sayed that he would think about it. I still didnt feel great about what he said and just went throughtout the day in lost of hope and courage that i used to feel. Couldn't believe the boys made it come to this already and we havent even been here that long. I slept that night harder than i've slept since the day we got on this island. The moment i finally fell asleep i heard a strange screaming like lamentation fade in the distance of the island but never took the time to get up and se what it was and just went right back to sleep. I dreamed of the boys being very tempestuosly. As i knew that the incantation of ralph's voice not working i knew this island was going to come down hill sooner or later.

Things continue to change as did amongst the boys, especially between the two personalities of ralph and I. The littluns nightmares continue to worsen. One day, three littluns, Percival, Johnny and Henry are building sand castles and digging. Nearby in the trees, Roger and Maurice linger, watching them. Roger and Maurice, just relieved from tending to the fire, emerge and kick aside the smaller boys castles, laughing with pleasure. I felt bad for them in a way but something told me to stay with it and to not be the hero here.
Maurice wanders away while Roger remains to observe Percival crying. The crying only gets worse when Johnny also, following the older boys destructive behavior, scatters sand into the air, and Percival leaves, crying, as does Henry. Johnny is left with the castles all to himself after scaring them off. Roger then follows Henry to the beach and proceeds to toss stones at him although there was a space round Henry into which he dare not throw. Despite the lack of an adult authority, the old ways into which he had been brought up still stayed with him, and with myself also i feel like roger is my second in command.
I end up to everyone suddenly, having smeared clay on my face like war paint or a tribal mask and, proceeds to take them all on a pig hunt. With the addition of the mask, I transform from within as well, already completing the move towards my urge that i cant help myself.

Chapter 3: Huts on the beach
Perspective: Ralph

Simon, usually a silent objective observer to these discussions, says that the littluns are all afraid as if "the beastie or snake-thing was real." He then disappears suddenly before Jack and I go off to the water hole to bathe, assuming that Simon has gone there as well. But he has not. Simon walks off mysteriously, alone. Around him is a certain glow where he walks, he gives himself without greed or desire for power, unlike both me and Jack. "Then, amid the roar of bees in the afternoon sunlight, Simon found for the fruit they could not reach passed them back down to the endless, outstretched hands."
I felt as if i was the only one from the group of everyone because of my leadership. I feel like jack was to envolve with the pig, the kids dont pay attention, and piggy wont help with the shelters like everyone else. I cant believe this day, the day of the kids fooling around, jacks persuasion in getting meat, and the lack of listening in the group of boys who crashed on the plane.
While cutting some wood for the shelters i thought about the other groups of kids who wouldn't help me. At that exact moment i thought about my partner helping me i looked around but didn't find simon anywhere. I didn't know where he was but knew he was doing something good. I hope simon will be back from his journey or adventure soon. I looked around after many hours of choping down trees and realized he was not back yet.

Chapter 2: Fire on The Mountain
Perspective: Piggy


Jack volunteers his hunters as being in charge of tending the fire and keeping a lookout for ships. I cut into the discussion with an odd laughter looking down, the signal fire has spread to a large section of the island, burning down everything in its path.''You got your fire all right.''
Shelters, not fire, are the most important things to create first. I got very mad at them for taking my glasses and starting a fire without clearing the area before they started. Lastly, i note missing from the group, as parts of the island below them burns, the boy with the birthmark who worried about the "beastie." I never saw that boy with the birthmark again as if he fanished into thin air after he left my sight.

Chapter 1: The Sound of the Shell
Perspective: Simon #3

Simon was scared because in the book when the choir came to Ralph and piggy from the conch, they say Simon was faint and passes out. Simon knew then that he had to be scared that he was on the island and Simon was so shocked when it happened that he just passed out.

When he woke up he figured he would be back at it and a big part of the group but as the chapter went on Simon wanted to just be a follower and was staying a step behind everyone else and not taking a lead like Ralph and jack tryed to do. Simon worked for the good not the bad and helped everyone.

I think Simon speaks when he really wants something like food but i also know Simon will try to jump in when there's a time to either explore or help the group. Simon grew very shy to everyone and was a person who was kind and nice to everyone while everyone else was panicking.

Because of Romek, Final Post

1)The most disturbing part of the book was in camp belsen. When got there his job was to drag dead bodies into the furnace. There was lice crawling on the dead bodies and if he drag the bodies then he can get soup but the soup that he got smelled like burning flesh and was made from dead bodies. He saw a doctor's stomach swell up from Typhus.
2)David got the job of feeding the dogs, they were all tied up and violent and he was scared of them. So he found a broom to push the food into their stalls and as he fed them he would grab food from their dish and eat it. The food was some beef, sugar beets, and chunks of meat. It got him strong so he was able to put some weight on and have some strength while the other guys had to go out and dig while he didn't.
3)David got very sick from Typhus and had a bad fever. In this camp is where he saw people eating dead bodies to stay alive. A doctor that he made friends with told him to survive to go out and eat the grass and that would give him a little moisture for water. The doctor told him to burn some wood and if he would eat the ashes it would stop the bleeding from his rectum.
4)A prisoner burst through the door and said '' were free the Americans are here '' and sobbing David said '' i did it mama, i survived ''. He had to find the strength to get on his knees to let them know that he was still alive.
5)David Faber's book, Because of Romek, should be required reading in all middle schools, high schools, and universities because all students need to learn about the horrors of the Holocaust. It's very important for all human beings to understand the horrors of war. We must understand that anyone of us is vulnerable to cruelty of human beings do to fear and survival. I think that leadership is very important to our world. If you take a leader that is willing to risk everything and try to rule the world then this world will just fall apart piece by piece. I think that people need to know what went on in those times and if they don't then giving a book to students would be a great idea.

Project Title: renaissance ball Class: humanites

PURPOSE: In this section, explain what you were supposed to learn and what you were supposed to do.

The purpose of this project was to learn about your guy, for example I had Sir Francis drake and I had t learn about the history of him and how he was significant to the world. IN order to learn about Sir Francis drake, we had to write a biography on him about his life and what he did that showed accomplishment. In order to learn about the Renaissance we had to research a person, and do a 3-5 page biography on them. We also had to learn how to dance like the Renaissance people did.

WHAT I LEARNED
In this section, tell what information or skills you learned or improved.

In this project i learned about the renaissance. I learned about the clothes that renaissance wear such as puffy and thick clothing with long socks for the boys. The girls usually wore clothing like long dresses with the clothing high on their shoulders. I also learned about the renaissance age and how the renaissance was the age of great people who made our world greater. I learned from my explorer that he was second in command in the English fleet and was a simple pirate to the Spaniards.

REFLECTION
In this section, reflect on your experience. Did you like the project? Why or why not? How did you do? What would you do differently next time?

I enjoyed this project because it was a fun experience to in doing a ball. I feel like I could have done better on this project because I would have liked to memorize more than I did and make sure that I knew it because I could have to do another project on sir Francis drake and I hope that I could memorize everything that I learned from this project. Next time, I would do more source work and get more info in my biography because I sort of lagged on those subjects and hope I can do those better.

I used a lot of textbooks, and books from the library to find information on sir Francis drake and I also found many websites that helped me get some of the early life information I needed.

1)My reaction when David first spoke I thought he probably wouldn't be that good. I thought he was just going to say a few things about himself and his family and then about the war and then he is done, but this guy gave such emotion into his speach than anyone I have ever heard before. I felt that he didn't care what anyone thought he just wanted to get the word out. The depth and heartlessness of the Gustapo in this war came out of his heart like a shooting star. I really was shocked and everyone around us was shocked. As soon as he started everyone was quiet, then while he was taking a drink of water I could feel the fear when his hand shook. It's like his hand gave me a sign of how terrible he felt. I really appreciate him and really liked his speech about what he went through during the war.

( Well whenever his hand would shake when he took a drink of water, I thought to myself about people surviving in this war and about how people suffered. I would look at his hand thinking to myself of how terrible it could of been. I mean just imagine a old man come speak with you about his survival and how he suffered and then think about what he went through. So i just felt like he still has some fear in him over the war and now I understand how bad this time period was and how he feels.)

2)David was not dwelling on what happened to him and his family but going on with the present situation by helping the partisons where ever he was needed. He felt like he was getting his family back again. He was in a place where he was in control again. It was exciting to him to bomb the trains.

3)The Gustapo let David go because he was a kid and he did not know anything. They throw him out the window and he broke some ribs. The Gustapo didn't have any reason to go after him. David took off. Maybe the Gustapo wanted people to hear what happened so they would be shocked and scared.

1) The pigeon was a pet that David became very close with. The pigeon helped him forget about what was happening around him. The pigeon distracted the Nazis and allowed his family to escape. So the pigeon was significance in the form of him helping out his family that he has not been attached too.

Response:I did not know how mean the Nazis were towards the Jews. I could not understand how they could hate them so much to the point of treating them like dogs.

Davids family was very loving and very close. He had six sisters and a mother and father. The father did not want the family to seperate for any reason. That is one of the reasons they were still in Poland.

David was very brave. Even under the worst conditions of hearing people dieing he still helped his father escape and did not worry about his own life.

The purpose of this project was to learn about the Aztec culture and their religion. We also learned about the Aztecs way of life and about how they live without the machinery we have today. In order to learn about murals, we had to create a painting of a mural that represented our topic which was eclipse. We also had to write a artist statement about our mural and include the Aztec culture.
WHAT I LEARNED
In this section, tell what information or skills you learned or improved.

I learned about the Aztecs and many different topics of what Aztecs did to live learn and develop through their culture. I learned about the social classes of the Aztecs from the lowest being peasants/slaves to the highest which is the ruler and his king. I explored the concept of an eclipse which is when the moon is over the sun. In this project, I learned how to make a painting of a mural and how to make different colors of paint to paint your mural.

REFLECTION
In this section, reflect on your experience. Did you like the project? Why or why not? How did you do? What would you do differently next time?

I enjoyed this project because it gave me a chance to do an active activity and paint something. I thought any other project such as the mad lib for example was all typing and not being active. I feel like I could have done better on this project because to my group I didn’t stick up to my full potential but in my mind I think they did just as good as me and the confidence in my work is going down because of the potential they wanted me to go to. I agree that some people have different personalities but I disagree on people who think they are better than other people or who think they have done more than many people in my group. Next time, I would like to of let my group know that I am better than they think I am and that I won’t care what their opinion is, it is just what I feel and if I feel I did a fantastic job to half the people in my groups mind and my mind then I think that I have done a great job in my group. (Trying to give personal feelings...)

1.In this book i saw a lot of action because of the way vince luca handled things. I feel this book gave a lot of courage for the young boy and his father. Life changes when you are near different types of people that react different then you and in this book it showed a lot about feelings and emotions of a boy and his father. I actually liked this book because it was funny, fun to read, and has a good ending. I liked the ending the most because the main idea of the story came from in the story. The author i think was trying to show feelings and courage in people that change to different people.

1.I think this book was good at someparts like when Vincent Luca accidently took money from his father. Although i really didn't like the book that much because it didnt make sense, because the story started out with two people in a car talking about nothing.

1.I think that the main character in this book was crucial. i think that this book showed a lot of agent work and fear. The first 68 pages gave me a picture of what the book is going to be about because of the turn of events and the action that had already started.

RESPONSE:
The animals unleashed their angry on the humans. I think these animals were being very fierce to fight the humans. Conrad napoleon is being protected by the other animals.
The animals commandments is a huge commitment to their army and their leader. Their sense of pride and confidence in what they say and do really shows how mad they are. This is a big thing for the animals and they want to do everything and trying to do anything they can to kill the humans. I could relate the religion of the Christian's on how god gave moses commandments, commandments are also in this book and show how committed the animals are to be free from the humans. Napoleon ( the boar ) was on sale but has a reputation of getting his own way. His own way concluded into the final chapters. His leadership stood out to me the most. I liked this book because of the way the author told the story. He told it in a way where two organisms face off.

The person who stood out to me the most was the tame raven out of all the animals because he reminds me of marthin luthar king who had a dream. The raven had a dream to get rid of the human race and be free. He thought the humans threatend the animals and he took a stand so i like him the most because of his hard work and effort the raven put into making a triumph. He is a good speaker and can get the animals attention quick and states his point very well. I think the raven has been hurt and probably seen animals die from humans and cant take it anymore so he wants to gather all the animals and make a stand. Phillip standed up for whats right when some people tryed to go for the bad. I think this book was about truth and how the truth comes out in varyess ways. I liked this book because it showed a little about moral courage and how moral courage is the key to all success. i think phillip will never regret what happen that day and this book reminded me of some of the courage he put in to stopping the school from getting rid of the national anthem.

I liked the part in this 50 pages on how the battle of the national anthem got to far and turned into a kid named phillip actually getting expelled for this. Even though he got to come back to school they still shouldnt have never expelled or even suspended a boy that sayed the national anthem. I really like the part when he talks to allison because allison helps out phillip in the moment. I like this part in the story because it is getting to the part where he is finally settling in again and i can see a little bit of the teachers enjoying him in their class.

This is getting very intense on how the suspended phillip for just standing up for what he believes and what his country is all about and i cant believe they suspend him. I think phillip handling it pretty well but i think that schools these days wouldnt have done that because the national anthem is something that is from our country. I really want to read forword and see what happens.

I liked the book so far becasue it had been talking about phillip malloy's life and its been diary's of what has been happening in school so far and how phillip is going through his life style while saying the truth.
