RESPONSE
My favorite character so far in the book is Mr. jones because of the way he handles things and takes cares of his things in the book so far. Other than the animals taking over i still think Mr. jones is my favorite so far.

MY question was that i answered was:
Who was your favorite character in the book and why?

Questions about Book:

1. Why do you think the national Athem effected their school?

2. How do you think the national anthem would effect you?

3. What do you think Phillips thoughts were when he got suspended?

4. How do you think phillip can overcome this in a different/better way than he did? If so explain why you think he can overcome this change?

reading group post 4

Phillip standed up for whats right when some people tryed to go for the bad. I think this book was about truth and how the truth comes out in varyess ways. I liked this book because it showed a little about moral courage and how moral courage is the key to all success. i think phillip will never regret what happen that day and this book reminded me of some of the courage he put in to stopping the school from getting rid of the national anthem.

reading group post 3

I liked the part in this 50 pages on how the battle of the national anthem got to far and turned into a kid named phillip actually getting expelled for this. Even though he got to come back to school they still shouldnt have never expelled or even suspended a boy that sayed the national anthem. I really like the part when he talks to allison because allison helps out phillip in the moment. I like this part in the story because it is getting to the part where he is finally settling in again and i can see a little bit of the teachers enjoying him in their class.
